Juicers

Wed, February 23, 2011 7:41 PM

I have mild Crohn's.  I know my trigger foods but recently had a flare up and landed in the hospital.  I am having to slowly re-introduce veggies and fruit in to my diet.  Since there are very few veggies I like, I am starting to try juicing the veggies and fruits.  I have not had any issues since starting but I am wondering if anyone has tried juicing?  Any success with juicing to get the nutrients and used the pulp that is left over in anything?  Has any one had a reaction to using the pulp?

Thanks!

Diet plays a vital role in your health. Maintaining a healthy diet is hard to keep but very useful. You can dodge many unhealthy activites by maintaining a hyeginic diet. Everyone should have to take care of what they are eating and what will be the cons of eating that food. Because health is everything, If you're not healhty you ain't dong stuffs like now. Even a healhty diet keeps you  away from getting fat. So must follow the healthy diet routine to keep on keepig on.

I was just thinking about buying a juicer. Right now I have been throwing up undigested food every other day. I really like eating my veges, but they say to avoid raw veges and I have been depending on a liquid diet. I wonder if you could just eat the pulp (is it baby food like?). Curious too.

There is some videos on Youtube about IBD and juicing.  I have one, and I have not had problem with it.  They say you can use the pulp for baking and other recipes.  I usually just give the pulp to my chickens.

I have not had any experience either, but hopefully someone will post their experience. I would also like to know. I am a huge fan of Jamba Juice and Naked Juices. Now I am thirsty...off to the kitchen. :)
