Raising Awareness At School

Wed, August 27, 2014 2:38 PM

Hi guys, my name is Izabella Doran. I've had Colits going on 4 months now. It's still very new to me and i'm learning more everyday. I'm the Philanthropy chair at my college and i'm looking to raise awareness for Crohns and Colitis. If any of you have any cool, fun ideas or volunteer programs, i'm in need of some! Thank you all so much!

Raising Awareness At School is a very good idea. I think that the people will be able to learn more about the world and their surroundings in this way. I am sure that they will be able to learn a lot of new things which they didn't know before. I would recommend this https://masterbundles.com/book-clipart-for-you/ site to buy best book clipart. It is very important for all children to know about their surrounding environment, like animals and plants, because then they can make friends with these animals and plants.

Google led me to the slogan "Cross Out Crohn's"

Idk if this is dumb or not but you could have a tic-tac-toe tournament :D

You could also host a movie night but be careful my doctor told me to avoid eating popcorn.

I was thinking about fundraising, and how a movie date generally costs about $40, while a movie night at home can be as cheap as $5. I vote host a movie night, and charge admission and donate the proceeds.

There are some cool t-shirts for sale on teespring.com

I like the slogans "I've Got Guts" and "Crohn's - It's a Pain in the A**"

Facebook has the hashtag going on #escapethestall and I think thats cool too.

Maybe check out Ben Morrison, he's a comedian who has Crohn's.

Maybe try a potluck with a theme like no dairy or gluten or something that sheds light on dietary issues?

Just some ideas, i'll let you know if I think of anything more fun.
