Hi! I started Entyvio 8 months ago. While it has put my crohns into remission, I feel like the rest of my body is falling apart. I'm 35 years old and since I started the medication, my already bad knees have gotten significantly worse with arthritis, I have a bulging disk in my lower back, and I've developed joint pain in my ankles and my right wrist. I went from having a GI doctor, to having an ortho for my knees, an ortho for my back and a rheumatologist who's answer was to just blame everything on my crohns and up my Azathioprine (which I don't want to be taking). My fiancé and I currently have a 2 year old and we'd like to try for another one.....but I can't imagine being pregnant with all these pains I'm having all over my body. I'm wondering if the Entyvio is causing all of this. Anyone else experiencing any of these symptoms?

Joint pain and arthritis are known side effects of Entyvio, although they are relatively uncommon. It's also possible that your joint pain could be related to your Crohn's disease or other factors. Your healthcare provider can help you determine the root cause of your symptoms driving directions
and develop a treatment plan that works for you.

170 views and no responses....sigh....I just started Entyvio and did notice my left knee hurting but I have had surgery and my joints hurt from my inflammatory markers being up. I use three different prescribed creams to help with the pain. I've read that you can learn to just live with certain amounts of pain, increase your tolerance to it by accepting that it's there and move on with your life. Interesting premise I just try to keep active mentally and physically as much as I can. I know my diet isn't the best which increases the inflammatory markers so watch the sugars and such. It's a learning battle and I hope other with longer history with this drug will please take a couple minutes to post their reactions to this fairly new drug. I pray you will find peace and the pain will subside.
Take care.
